Mr. Ashok Ghimire: His spiritual journey of Christian faith started in 1984. Since then, he is actively involved in various student ministries, from the time when he was a student in Pulchowk Engineering Campus (Nepal), Philippines and until now in the US. He has also served in various cross-cultural ministries in different countries of Southeast and South Asia for over 21 years, and now with the international students, scholars, and other ethnic communities  in USA for the last 5 years. He is also pioneering in helping earthquake victims in the villages of Nepal in rebuilding using earth bag technology. He is an engineer by profession with degrees in Civil (Bachelors) and Environmental Engineering (Masters), including a degree in Missions (Masters) from the Philippines. He is currently pursuing PhD in ‘International Development’ at William Carey International University. He lives in Pasadena, California with his wife and two teenage sons.


Ps. Kishor Gurung: Ps. Kishor is a pastor of Himalayan Christian Fellowship, a vibrant growing church in Minnesota. He came to America in 2010 after living 18 years in the refugee camps in Nepal. He accepted Christ at a young age. After he moved to Minneapolis area, he started a fellowship which has continued to flourish. The church also supports missions in Bhutan and Nepal. He is also the Vice-President of ‘Midwest Unity’ a fellowship of Nepali speaking churches in Midwestern States.

Ps. Nima Ghising: Ps. Nima came to Christ through a friend in 1992. He has served as a church worker at Bethel AG and Principal of Nepal Institute of Theology in Nepal, as well as Pastor at Nepali Community Church, Boston, MA. He has B.Com from Tribhuvan University, M.Div from Southern Asia Bible College, Bangalore, India, and M. Th from University of Edinburgh, Scotland where he is pursuing his PhD currently. He is currently serving as a Pastor at Maranatha Nepali Community Church in Manchester, NH, where he resides with his wife and three children.


Mr. Sailesh Ghimire: Mr. Shailesh is from Kathmandu, and came to America as an International Student. He has lived in the United States for over 25 years. He has worked in marketing and management for almost 20 years and is currently a Senior Executive at one of America’s largest media companies. He lives in Gilbert, AZ with his wife and four kids. He has been passionately involved in Christian ministry since he started to follow Jesus in 2002. He has helped with two church plants in the Phoenix area, led Bible studies, young adult ministries and helped where and when needed in his local church. He has also worked with different groups in Nepal as they have sought to bring healing and hope to the nation, especially after the earthquake. MohanDr. Mohan Thapa: Dr. Thapa is from Pokhara, and has been living in the U.S. since 1992. He came as an international student and has since completed his PhD studies in Mathematics. He currently is a math professor at University of Wisconsin. He is involved at the university as a faculty adviser for CRU student ministry, as well as mission activities with his home church. He resides with his wife in West Bend, Wisconsin.


Organizing Team:

Mr. Arjun Bhattarai: Arjun came to America as an International Student in 2006. He attended Liberty University, a Christian university. Though he got to hear the gospel at Liberty, it was not until 2013 he accepted Christ as his personal savior. He currently lives with his wife Maya in Columbus, OH. Together they serve at Emmanuel Bhutanese Nepali Church. He is also a certified medical interpreter, and is graduating with Masters in Public Health Epidemiology from University of South Florida this year.

Mr. Bijay M. Lama: Bijay was born and raised in a Christian family, and has been involved in ministry from a young age. He came to America in 2003 as an International Student. He was involved in student ministries in Nepal during his study at the engineering college. He has been involved in Nepali speaking ministries in America in various roles since 2003. He graduated from Louisiana Tech University. He uses his gift of technical skills at the IT Department of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. He is currently a graduate student at Fuller Seminary. He and his wife live and serve at Madison Bhutanese Nepali Church in Madison, WI.

Mr. Deep Manandhar: Deep came to America in 2007 after completing his undergrad in Computer Engineering to pursue his Graduate studies in Information Technology. He graduated from Lincoln University, California. After graduating in 2010, he moved to Texas, where he met Bijay, who introduced him to Jesus Christ. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior in 2010 and was baptized in  2012. He is currently working as a Software Developer. He is passionate about using his technical skills for the kingdom of God. He and his wife live in Dallas, and are serving at International Nepali Church.

Mr. Deepak Bal: Deepak came to America in 2001, and completed his Graduate degree in Health Care System Management, and currently works as a Medical Lab Scientist for a hospital. He accepted Christ in 2012, and has been actively serving in International Nepali Church in Dallas as Missions Director. He is also passionate about fitness, nutrition and health, and is a Certified Personal Trainer. He and his wife live in Mansfied, TX.

Mrs. Maya Bhattarai: Maya came to America in 2006 to pursue her degree in Nursing. She has completed her Bachelors from Liberty University, and Masters of Science in Nursing from Cedarville University, and currently is working as a Nurse Practitioner. She accepted Christ in 2007, and since has been an active member of NSCSP. She is passionate about pro-life movement and has conducted college researches and seminars on it.  She and her husband serve at Emmanuel Bhutanese Nepali Church in Columbus, OH.

Mr. Sabeen Gurung: Sabeen came to America in 2009. He accepted Christ while he was still living in the refugee camps in Nepal. He is pursuing his studies in Computer Network Engineering at Saint Paul College, and works for a non-profit organization (Hmong American Partnership) as a welfare counselor.He has been an active member of NSCSP since 2012. He, his wife, and a son attend and serve at Himalayan Christian Fellowship in Minnesota.

Mr. Samuel Shrestha: Samuel is a third generation Christian in his family. He came to America in 2003 as an International Student, and has been involved in Nepali speaking Christian ministries since. After completing his MBA, he is working in Technology field for an insurance company. He is also an Elder at his church. He holds a B.A. in Finance and Accounting, B.Sc. Environmental Science, and MBA in Finance. He, his wife and son reside in Minnesota and serve at Himalayan Christian Fellowship.

Ms. Vani Tumbahangphe: Vani was born in Hetauda, Nepal and grew up in Kalimpong, India. She moved to Kathmandu for her higher education where she also accepted Christ. After completing her degree in Social Work and Psychology, she came to US in 2011 for further education. She has Social Work degree from Gordon College. She currently works as a Clinical Consultant in Boston, and calls it her “dream job”. She serves at First Nepali Church in Somerville, MA and she loves exploring new places during her spare time.
