Many Nepali students come to the United States as international students for higher education. In 2004, few of them who were students in the USA felt the need for a fellowship among Nepali speaking Christian students in the States. Soon, they started networking with Nepali students via internet. This online fellowship led to its first conference in Boulder,Colorado in 2006. The second conference took place in Florence, Alabama in 2007. Both the conferences were very uplifting and many students got opportunity to fellowship with like-minded Christians.

Since 2008, there has been a significant influx of Nepali speaking immigrants to the United States. Praise the Lord for many youths who have received Christ in their lives shortly after their entry to this country; however the community is lacking discipleship, counseling, and a proper guidance for the career advancement. We have designed our conferences where we not only fellowship and connect with one another, but also create an environment of mentoring and encouragement. The third, fourth, and fifth conferences were held in Texas, Georgia, and Ohio. We had a significant participation of newly resettled immigrant students, which we are grateful to God. We also included the professionals working in various fields in these conferences, which provided them with a wonderful opportunity to network with others in their field as well as encourage students interested in their field.
